Action 1: Postcards to Florida Voters
Plenty of evidence shows that voters who are mailed ballots are much more likely to participate than those who aren't mailed ballots. We need your help writing to Democrats in Florida not already enrolled in Vote By Mail. We have more than a year to finish all 67 counties. But we can't wait until the last minute.
Can you commit to sending postcards to Florida voters?

Action 2: Phonebank to Wisconsin on 7/29
We have heard from our allies in the Democratic Party, SW Wisconsin. They would like us to phone formerly active folks in their area and invite them to a meeting/activity in that area. It's a great way to flex your phone banking muscles and get ready for the 2020 election! It will also be a big help to our allies in Wisconsin - a must win state for the Democrats in 2020.
When: Monday, July 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 2234 W. Irving Park Rd.

Action 3: Humanitarian Food Aid Bags
As you are probably aware, the US is sending hundreds of migrants back to Mexico each day through the Trump administration’s Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP)/Remain in Mexico program. The Mexican government has given permission to provide food aid in Cd. Juarez as soon as the MPP migrants arrive at their immigration facilities.
The volunteers coordinating food bags to help. Each bag contains a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a granola bar, cookies, and a water bottle. It is not a lot, but it is something to fill their stomachs for at least a few hours. Temperatures are in the 100s, so humanitarian groups are trying to keep everyone healthy and hydrated.
The situation is absolutely awful, especially with Cd. Juarez not having the shelter capacity, which means that 95% of all migrants are put on the street after being processed. Organizations are currently receiving 300+ migrants each day and are expected to receive 500+ migrants each day next week.
Here’s how you can help: Purchase items from this Amazon wish list to fill the food aid bags for incoming migrants. Thank you!
