Action 1: TONIGHT - Indivisible People of Color Call
The People of Color (POC) Organizing Working Group of Indivisible National has just announced a new working group for Indivisible group leaders, group members, and supporters who identify as people of color.
Far too often in the wider movement, people of color feel the weight of the work the heaviest with the least amount of agency. The staff of National designed this working group to center the voices of those marginalized in our society, and be an opportunity for participants to speak freely on their experience with racial issues within progressive spaces. Please note that this invitation is meant only for those who identity as a person of color.
If you are interested in taking part, please click here to register for the upcoming call TONIGHT, Tuesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please reach out to National directly at email@example.com.

Action 2: TOMORROW - Rapid Response Training
Activist’s rapid response was key in freeing three US children last week at O’Hare when Customs and Border Protection (CBP) took them hostage in an attempt to deport their parents.
Join Pilsen en Defensa and community members at the PIlsen Alliance office for a Rapid Response Training against ICE detentions. All people are welcome to learn and participate to help defend our communities against the racist and inhumane policies of Donald Trump! Si se puede!

Action 3: Tell Congress to Defund Hate
While Democratic control of the House has given us a firewall against some of the worst Republican attacks, Trump’s attacks against immigrants continue. The appropriations process is our best chance to act to stop Trump’s deportation machine. If you care about ending Trump’s racist immigration policies—like separating, caging, and tear gassing families—make a call today and tell your Member of Congress (MoC) to cut funding for ICE and CBP, and get rid of the slush fund that will allow ICE to continue terrorizing immigrant communities. Script: Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [zip code] and a member of Indivisible. I'm calling to ask [MoC] to Defund Hate in this year's budget by cutting funding for ICE and CBP in the Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill, and by getting rid of the slush fund in that bill that will allow ICE to continue terrorizing immigrant communities. Will you commit to work to Defund Hate?
