Thursday, April 4 - Rally to #MakeItPublic / Demand the Mueller Report / Help Register Voters

Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: TODAY - Rally to Make Mueller Report Public

Today, Indivisible will mobilize for the “Nobody is Above the Law” Day of Action to call on Attorney General William Barr to release the full, unredacted Mueller report. Alongside coalition partners — including MoveOn, Public Citizen, People For the American Way — Indivisible will hold more than 300 events across the country to make it clear that people want the report to be made public.

Make sure you come out to demand the Mueller report tonight! And bring a friend!

When: TONIGHT, Thursday, April 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Federal Center and Plaza (219 S Dearborn St.)
RSVP and share on Facebook

Action 2: Tell Congress to Keep Demanding the Mueller Report

Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee has voted 24-17 along party lines to subpoena the full, unredacted Mueller and the underlying investigative evidence. That’s a great first step, but we need all of our Members of Congress to keep up the pressure by demanding to see the full Mueller Report. This is particularly important because some members of Mueller’s team have said that the report was more damaging than Barr revealed.

Call on your MoC today to ask them to keep up the pressure to demand the Mueller Report!

Script: Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [zip code] and a member of Indivisible. I'm calling today because I'm concerned about potential suppression of the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. Even though the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed the unredacted report, I believe the public needs to hear from Mueller himself, and I expect Congress to hold hearings with both Mueller and Rod Rosenstein so unanswered questions can be resolved. Thank you for your time and attention.

Action 3: Sign Up to Help Register Voters

Swing Left and Indivisible chapters across the country have been working on Tuesday’s race for a State Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin.

In Wisconsin, one of the most gerrymandered places in the country, a judicial race that’ll affect whether unfair maps continue to be drawn could be going to a recount.

If we lose in Wisconsin, it’ll be by only a few thousand votes. That's extraordinarily close for a state-wide race. And it’s a stark reminder that every voter—and every volunteer—counts.

It’s also a reminder that registering more people to vote in Super States like Wisconsin is one of the most effective things we can do to win in 2020—if we start now. Help write letters to register new voters, via Swing Left’s voter-registration-by-mail program. You can do it from home or with your friends.

We’ll be spending more time and energy this year on important state-level races like these, in our work to secure fair district maps, fair representation, and a fair government. We can’t afford to lose another race in Wisconsin, and we can’t afford to lose the country in 2020.

Sign up to send letters to register voters!
