Friday, March 29 - WI Supreme Court Race / Rally to #MakeItPublic / Get Ready to Vote on April 2

Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: Make Calls for WI Supreme Court Race on Sunday

The April 2 State Supreme Court election in Wisconsin is monumentally important to the future of fair elections in the state and our national fight to roll back Republican gerrymandering in 2021.

Swing Left is helping Wisconsinites elect Judge Lisa Neubauer to the WI State Supreme Court. Republicans are putting their money behind her opponent, so we’re pulling out the stops to elect Judge Neubauer.

You can help by calling Democratic voters this Sunday to make sure they understand the stakes of this race, know who the candidates are, and have a plan for voting.

To make calls for this race, RSVP to this event. Don't worry if you've never made calls before or feel like you don't know much about this race. After you sign up, you’ll immediately receive an automated email with all the information you need to make calls: training materials, background on Judge Neubauer, and an invitation to a live webinar training that will take place right as call time kicks off.

Sign up here to phone bank on Sunday, March 31.

Action 2: Rally to Make Mueller Report Public on 4/4

Attorney General William Barr has until Tuesday, April 2, to send the full Mueller Report to Congress. That's the deadline set this week by six House committee chairpersons, after which they will consider Barr to be noncompliant and will put the pressure of the law on him with a subpoena to #MakeItPublic. We will know by the following morning, Wednesday, whether he has met that deadline or is refusing to make it public.

If Barr misses the deadline to make the Mueller report public, shielding the Trump administration from public accountability, we will likely activate the Nobody Is Above the Law rapid-response network on Wednesday morning, calling for a national day of action the following day, Thursday, April 4 at 5 p.m.

When: Thursday, April 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Federal Center and Plaza (219 S Dearborn St.)
RSVP and share on Facebook
