Action 1: #SaveSCOTUS Phone Bank
The Senate continues its hearings for Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh. Senators Duckworth and Durbin have each have each been publicly critical of this uniquely controversial candidate and the way his nomination to Supreme Court was made and has rushed through to the. But several senators have not made a public decision and can still be swayed.
We’re reaching out to those senators constituents to stop Brett Kavanaugh and #SaveSCOTUS. Sign up to join our massive phone bank for one of our upcoming shifts, and we’ll send you everything you need to take part.
If Trump is successful at getting Kavanaugh confirmed, the Court will work to preserve the Trump agenda for decades to come. Key issues that affect us all hang in the balance, including reproductive rights, access to health care, LGBTQ rights, environmental protections, and much more.

Action 2: Tell Companies to Follow Lyft’s GOTV Example
Remind Lyft passengers about voter registration deadlines using various social media and platform tools (e.g. push notifications)
Give drivers voter registration handouts and key voter information at Hub locations
Offer in-office voter registration for employees at Lyft offices
Offer comprehensive, online voter information through partner organizations
Encourage the Lyft community to make a plan in advance for Election Day, which has a proven impact on voter turnout rates.
Let’s spread the word about Lyft’s efforts, and ask other companies and our employers to follow Lyft’s shining example!
Ask your company, employer, organization, or the businesses you patron what commitments they are making to ensure that we GOTV. Share Lyft’s example for inspiration.

Action 3: Blue Wave Rave on 10/3
Enjoy an evening of laughter, drinks, and community as we work together to turn Congress blue! Indivisible Chicago is teaming up with ensemble members of The Second City, iO, and Annoyance Theater to rally 1,000 volunteers to help Get Out The Vote for progressive candidates in Illinois and Indiana—and we need your help.
Please join us at Lakeview’s Athenaeum Theatre to find out how you can get involved, meet your fellow activists, and enjoy a one-night-only improv performance aimed at getting us ready to turn out the vote.
There is no blue wave without the work and, together, we can make sure Illinois does its part to flip the House—and maybe take the Senate, too.
Please consider a donation of $15 or more to help cover postcard stamps, transportation and other GOTV costs. Cash bar will be open throughout the evening.
