Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: URGENT - Canvassers Needed in Indiana

The most effective time to knock doors to get out the vote is the last days before the election. Time is running short, and Indiana needs our help to knock on as many doors as possible today and tomorrow (Election Day!).

If you have the time and are able to get to Gary, East Chicago, or Merrillville, Indiana, please sign up to canvass now!

In the last few hours before the election, you can make a big difference by helping Democrat Joe Donnelly keep his crucial Senate seat and also give a boost to Dems all down the ballot.

Please volunteer to canvass in Indiana today or tomorrow!

Action 2: Last Two Days! At-Home Phone and Text Banking

We are ONE DAY away from the most important election of our lifetime. Although knocking on doors is very important, we know that not everyone can make the time for it. But there’s a way that you can help get out the vote from your very own home by phone or text banking to eligible voters.

Sign up for an at-home phone or text bank shift through Indivisible to help power the Blue Wave!

Sign up right now to make calls and send texts -- you can hop on and off during our shifts as you're able to take part. Once you confirm your dates, we’ll send you everything you need to take part.

Action 3: Listen to the Indivisible Chicago Podcast with Ann Williams

Every Sunday, Indivisible Chicago members Tom Moss releases a new episode of the Indivisible Chicago Podcast (ICP). It’s a great way to keep up with the latest news about the Indivisible movement on a local level and to stay plugged in to upcoming efforts around the city.

Whatever happens on November 6, 2018, our work is only beginning. During the past legislative session, State Representative Ann Williams sponsored the house bill that would have given Illinois some net neutrality protection in the face of the FCC’s deregulation of the internet. The bill is currently stuck in limbo, but is set to return to center stage under a more reasonable administration. This week, Representative Williams joins to talk about this bill, about the future of Interstate Crosscheck, and what we might expect in the coming legislative session.
