Actions You Can Take Today
Action 2: Volunteer for The Last Weekend to help get out the vote November 3-6
Action 3: Volunteer to safeguard the vote on Election Day
Action 1: Indivisible Chicago Voting Guide
Voting can be intimidating and confusing (sometimes by design). That’s why Indivisible Chicago compiled all of the resources you’ll need to make an informed decision at the ballot box.
Our Voting Guide covers where to find sample ballots, judicial voting resources, early voting locations, voter registration information, and more.
Action 2: The Last Weekend
We've partnered with Swing Left and The Last Weekend to commit people to canvass on the last weekend before the election. We currently have 130 people signed up, and we want to TRIPLE that. If we have 400 people sign up for The Last weekend, we could knock on over 20,000 doors in the weekend before the election. The Congressional races could hinge on fewer than a thousand votes. We can make the difference.
You don't need to change your life to change history. Maybe you can give one hour, maybe you can give ten. Everyone's life and availability are different and every single hour is valuable, so commit to what you can.
Sign up for The Last Weekend and help get out the vote November 3-6, so you can wake up on November 7th after having witnessed a Blue Wave sweep the nation, and know you were a part of something special.
Action 3: Volunteer as an Election Observer
This election may be one of the most important ones in our lifetime. Unfortunately, we are facing waves of voter suppression and other nasty tactics that could keep eligible voters from the polls. Luckily, there are plenty of opportunities for people who want to step up as election observers to safeguard the sanctity of the vote.
