Tools You Can Use

Action 1: Pledge to Rally if Trump Fires Mueller (Or Rosenstein)

The Russia investigation took an alarming turn this week with the stepping down of Andrew McCabe from the FBI and the release of the reckless Nunes memo. The selectively edited, context-free document, released against the advice of the FBI and the Justice Department, will help justify Trump’s attempts at meddling in the investigation.

Trump could be gearing up to fire Mueller, whether he does it directly like he attempted to do in June, or by firing Rob Rosenstein, who is overseeing Mueller's investigation, and appointing a lackey to take his place. The threat to our democracy is real, and we need to be prepared.

That's why Indivisible Chicago is partnering with many organizations to prepare emergency "Nobody is Above the Law" rallies that will happen directly following the firing should it occur. There are already events in 180 locations scheduled across the country! Indivisible Chicago is the host and lead for the rally that will happen at Federal Plaza should Mueller be fired.

Action 2: TrumpTax Town Hall With Leader Nancy Pelosi on Friday

Despite enormous public opposition, Congress passed the GOP tax scam bill, which will raise taxes for 92 million middle-class families, rip health care away from 13 million people, and threaten life-saving programs — all to give tax breaks to millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations.

Wondering what the Democrats are doing to fight hits? Join Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi in Chicago for a TrumpTax Town Hall. This free event is part of the Not One Penny and Tax March coalitions' 100-day TrumpTax tour.
