Come down tomorrow to march for an independent investigation and true transparency into what's going on between Trump and Russia. We have a great lineup of speakers taking the stage, we have a pre-rally DJ getting you hyped, and have donuts! Protest is the new brunch and we are kicking off the Summer of Protest in style. Also, we are fully handicap accessible and will have an ASL translator.
The Goals of the March for Truth
An independent commission must be established, and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;
As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible;
Congress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;
- If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.
- Jill Wine-Banks (former Watergate prosecutor)
- Rep. Mike Quigley
- Rep. Robin Kelly
- Rep. Jan Schakowsky
- Amara Enyia - Public policy expert & former mayoral candidate
- Colleen Connell, Executive Director of ACLU Illinois
Roskam won't show? That's alright, we've got Jan! Jan Schakowsky is being amazing as usual and has stepped up for the Adopt-a-district program, lending an ear to the voices in the 6th district. If Peter Roskam doesn't have a spine, then the Congresswoman will just have to show him how it's done. If you want your voice heard, first head to the March for Truth, and then head out to Palatine. RSVP here to get your tickets here.
