Themes in Crime and Criminal Justice Questions

Criminal Justice questions concern reforming the system to reduce inequalities, as well as asking about how the candidates intend to reign in police brutality.

What steps will you take in solving the racial bias in our criminal justice system?
What are some concrete proposals that you have to address the factors, economic, social and judicial response that create what many call the school to prison pipeline.
Parity in funding for state's attorney and public defender offices and funding for civil legal services
How will you hold police accountable for their actions

General questions about how to reduce crime were common, but Gun Control specifically dominated this category.
